Eda Gecikmez, Periodical, Non-periodical, 2016, Drawing on Paper

This work consists of a series of sketches made from a daily newspaper over three months. A 20-page newspaper is scanned from beginning to end for news images, each then transferred onto a piece of paper. As the pages of the newspaper proceed, newsworthy images were placed on a single piece of paper. When there are no more pages to go through, or there is no blank space to draw on the paper, the process ends.
